The 21st. annual World's Championship Crawfish Etouffee Cook-Off was a huge success this year. This year the cook-off  retuned to it's place of inception: The Northwest Community Center Pavilion. There were over 37 teams competing for the top trophies at the cook-off this year. The crowd was large with many visitors from throughout the United States. The samples of etouffee were ready to eat early, starting around 10:00 am. The taste of the etouffee was as varied as the variety of people there.

   The weather was beautiful the whole day. Better weather couldn't have been ordered for the event. It was sunny with a slight overcast. The temperature averaged in the mid 70's throughout the day. 

   This year, for the first time in the cook-off history, entrants were allowed to cook other food items due to the shortage of crawfish this year.

   Trophies for the winners were awarded at 2:30 pm. The results are listed below. Music and dancing continued until 6:00 pm. Plenty of music and food was enjoyed by all that attended. All the winners are listed below.
