NOW ACCEPTING NOMINATIONS FOR EUNICE BUSINESS OF THE YEAR

The City of Eunice Economic Development Committee is now accepting applications for the City of Eunice Business of the Year.

According to Dr. Fred Landry, Interim Director of Economic Development for the City of Eunice, “Small businesses are the backbone of the American economy and they are critical to the City of Eunice. This award recognizes the contribution that outstanding businesses make to benefit our community.”

To qualify for the City of Eunice Business of the Year Award, a business must be locally owned and operated with its home office located in Eunice or within a seven mile radius, and it must have been in operation for at least three years. The business must have seen moderate job creation within the past five years and be of economic benefit to the Eunice area.

The business must have demonstrated excellence in industry through longevity, awards of merit, employee programs, workforce diversity, reputation, exterior beautification, etc. The business also participates in volunteer work in Eunice or the surrounding communities.

Nomination Deadline: July 1, 2012.
